How it's worked out
Fuel cost = (miles ÷ mpg) × 4.546 litres per gallon × price per litre. The “per mile” figure is the fuel cost divided by the distance — a handy number for judging whether a fixed-price job is worth taking. Add your fare and the platform's commission to see your take-home after fuel and fees.
